More than two decades after the ADA became law, a new survey indicates that more than 20 percent of doctors’ offices remain inaccessible to those with special needs.
This is a sad commentary on the healing profession. We need to be on the forefront of providing care to all patients, not just the able ones. What about the children with disabilities and the many of us in the Boomer generation who may need assistance as we get older?
